ENG. The project, made up of a restaurant, exhibition space and meeting point for the community, is located in the city of Toluca, in the State of Mexico. The area, which stands out for the French influence of its buildings, borders important points of the city such as the Zaragoza Garden and the historic brewery of the Mexican capital, which dates back to the end of the 19th century.
Moradores takes advantage of the potential of the existing heritage, adapting to current needs, and integrating contemporary elements in order to return the house to the splendor it had in its time. This new space of interest and recreation has become a milestone for local inhabitants, since it is one of the first cases where an attempt was made to redefine the existing architecture by giving it a new use.

ESP. El proyecto conformado por un restaurante, espacio de exhibición y punto de encuentro para la comunidad, se ubica en la ciudad de Toluca, en el Estado de México. La zona, que destaca por la influencia francesa de sus construcciones, colinda con puntos importantes de la ciudad como el Jardín Zaragoza y la histórica fábrica de cerveza de la capital mexiquense, que data de finales del siglo XIX.
Moradores aprovecha el potencial del patrimonio existente, configurándose a las necesidades actuales, e integrando elementos contemporáneos para así devolver a la casa el esplendor que llegó a tener en su época. Este nuevo espacio de interés y recreación se ha vuelto un hito para los habitantes locales, ya que es uno de los primeros casos donde se buscó resignificar la arquitectura existente dándole un nuevo uso.
